Middle School

Spring Leadership Institute

Calling all middle schoolers interested in understanding women’s activism and strengthening leadership skills! By joining the Spring Leadership Institute, you will form a strong community of middle school students across the county as you gain knowledge and develop leadership skills. Over the course of the two month program, participants will attend bi-weekly Zoom workshops covering a variety of current topics, including (but not limited to) public speaking, intersectionality, implicit bias, and team dynamics.

Application Deadline: 11:59pm on February 18th
Fall Program Dates: Bi-weekly Saturdays from 1-2:30pm: 2/24, 3/9, 3/23, 4/6, 4/20, 5/4

Our events range from panelists of womxn in different career fields, to discussions about racial equity in our community. We create a safe space for people of all gender identities to discuss current issues and make real connections.
