Gloria is a sophomore at Poolesville High School. This is her first year as a member of the MoCo EmpowHER leadership team after being a part of the Leadership Institute last year. Aside from MoCo EmpowHER, she has participated in student advocacy in the past through two years of membership on the SMOB Advisory Council and as a Cluster Liaison for MoCo EmpowHER. In her free time, she loves theater, books, and movies.

Ayza is an 11th grader at Clarksburg High School
who loves connecting with like-minded students
and is especially passionate about women’s
rights. She’s an avid boba enthusiast, always
trying new flavors and finding the best spots in
town. In her free time, she enjoys working on
ceramics projects, often with her favorite artist
Laufey, music playing in the background.

Juliana Fay C. Thompson attends Montgomery
Blair High School and is a 10th grader in the
Communication Arts Program. She likes to
spend time with her family and friends, write,
learn about different cultures, play volleyball and
be active in her community through leadership
and service. She Co-Presidents both the Class of
2027 Student Council and United Nations
Foundations Girl Up chapter at MBHS. In
addition, Juliana Fay helps run and participates
in numerous other organizations both inside and
outside of the larger MCPS.
